The Inside Story

Founded in 2019 in Río Cuarto, Argentina, Tracestory was created to bring transparency and sustainability to agribusiness value chains through the structured integration of data. The company developed a blockchain-based platform that enables full product traceability—from farm to end consumer—via a QR code system that securely and accessibly shares the product’s entire journey.

After testing its solution in the market, Tracestory shifted from a B2C to a B2B model, targeting companies seeking to differentiate their products through traceability. The pivot reflected limited consumer awareness in Argentina and growing industrial demand for tools that improve transparency and operational control.

Currently working with over 20 companies across Argentina, Paraguay, and Spain, Tracestory’s platform integrates diverse data sources into a single dashboard, supporting data-driven decisions in complex supply chains. Based in inland Argentina, the startup leverages operational efficiency and local talent, while preparing for international expansion to lead the digital transformation of the agro-industrial sector.
